We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
This page explains your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and similar state privacy laws.
What "Sell" and "Share" Mean Under California Law
Under the CCPA/CPRA:
- "Sell" means exchanging personal information for money or other valuable consideration
- "Share" means disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
We do neither of these things.
Our Data Practices
What We Collect
We collect personal information necessary to provide our ticketing services:
- Email address and account information
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe)
- Purchase history and ticket information
- Location data (for event discovery, with your permission)
- Device information (for app functionality and security)
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process ticket purchases and deliver tickets
- Send transactional emails (order confirmations, ticket delivery)
- Provide customer support
- Improve our platform and services
- Prevent fraud and ensure security
- Comply with legal obligations
Who We Share Information With
We share information only with service providers who help us operate our platform:

- We do NOT use cross-site tracking technologies
Your Rights Under California Law
Even though we don't sell or share your personal information, you have rights:
Right to Know
You can request:
- What personal information we have collected
- The categories of sources
- The business purpose for collecting
- The categories of third parties we share with
- The specific pieces of information we have
Right to Delete
You can request deletion of your personal information, subject to exceptions (completing transactions, legal compliance).
Right to Correct
You can request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Right to Opt-Out
You have the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing." Since we don't sell or share, there is nothing to opt out of. We provide this form for transparency.
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
How to Exercise Your Rights
Option 1: Email Request
Send an email to privacy@theclubisdead.com with:
- Subject: "Privacy Rights Request"
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your account
- What you are requesting (access, deletion, correction, or opt-out)
Option 2: In-App Request
- Open the THECLUBISDEAD app
- Go to Settings
- Select "Privacy" or "Legal"
- Choose "Your Privacy Choices"
- Follow the prompts

Verification Process
To protect your privacy, we verify your identity before processing requests:
- We confirm your email matches an account
- For sensitive requests, we may ask additional verification questions
- If we cannot verify your identity, we may not fulfill the request
Response Time
We respond within:
- 45 days for most requests (CCPA requirement)
- Up to 90 days for complex requests (with notification)
Responses are free unless requests are excessive or repetitive.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf:
- Provide written authorization signed by you
- The agent must verify their identity
- We may still contact you directly to verify
Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of "sale" or "sharing."
Since we don't sell or share, the signal is acknowledged but no action is needed.

We may update this page if our data practices change. If we ever begin selling or sharing personal information (which we have no plans to do), we will update this page and provide opt-out mechanisms.
